MAAFA 21

What does abortion have to do with racism? What does genocide have to do with Planned Parenthood? What are the connections between the eugenics movement and the abortion industry? Now, Mark Crutcher of Life Dynamics, with the assistance of many leaders including Dr Alveda King from Priests for Life, have put together the most persuasive evidence that where the eugenics movement failed to eradicate the Black community in the past, they are now finding success through the abortion industry. The video documentary Maafa 21 is opening the eyes and minds of people to the racist nature of abortion. It is moving the Black community to action against abortion, as they realize why they carry more than the average share of abortions.

Voting with A Clear Conscience

This is the short brochure version of Fr. Pavone's well-known longer booklet by the same name. It explains the Catholic citizen’s moral obligation to vote and take an active role in the nation's political process. It does not endorse any particular candidate or political party. It stresses the fundamental importance of the right to life, and guides us on how to properly assess candidates, issues, and parties, keeping our loyalty firmly rooted in Christ. Product #3469. Suggested Donation: $.20 each or 100 for $20.00.

I gave [this] to my husband to read ...he said, "You know, that article about voting your conscience really changed the way I voted today." Julia, GA

Church and Politics: Are We As Restricted As We Think?

Priests for Life and the Ave Maria School of Law co-sponsored a symposium for clergy and attorneys in June of 2003. These symposium papers will give pastors a broader understanding of the law in this area, and assist them to fulfill their mission with greater confidence. There is much that pastors can do to call their congregations to active and informed participation in the political process. In documents like Living the Gospel of Life (1998), the US bishops have articulated such a call with clarity and passion. At the same time, many pastors remain unaware of the extent to which they can speak and act in this arena, and often believe they are far more restricted than the law actually requires.
